We wanted to express our immense gratitude to you and all the staff who were part of 'X’s' journey at Bears Hideaway. 

All the staff were so kind and reassuring and you’ve played a huge part in shaping the little school girl that she is now.

It’s early days but she seems to have taken to school well and we know it has a huge amount to do with the preparation you gave her. 

Thank you for the care and kindness you have all shown and also for helping 'X' manage her allergies and eczema with ease. 

I can't thank you all enough for everything you've done over the years looking after both our children so wonderfully well and providing them both with the perfect environment in which to learn and develop from a young age. In addition we've always felt 100% confident and happy with the care both our children have received since they were babies and every one of your staff who has helped in their care have been outstanding and acted like surrogate parents, so we really couldn't have asked for more.

Thanks for all you guys have done for our 2 boys over the last 5 years. They absolutely loved bears. 'X' said his favourite part of bears is the staff and the mud in the nature garden. 'X' said his favourite part was the staff & the woodchip area. We're so grateful that their preschool years have been in a fun, caring & educational environment.

We have been so grateful to you and your team for all your hard work and stoic perseverance in the face of all that you have had to deal with over the last few years. You guys are amazing and I feel so lucky that 'X' has such a fantastic nursery.

Since 'X' has started at the nursery we have seen so much growth in her development and confidence in her which has makes us so happy! Thank you to you and all the staff that have made this possible.

My son has been attending Bears Hideaway since he was 10 months old as a Tiny Bear. He’s now 3 years old and is in Big Bears. He has developed strong and nurturing relationships with the staff, in particular his key worker. This means that he is very happy to go to nursery, and there is good communication between nursery and home. He has a lot of fun, and staff understand what is important to him. I’ve signed my youngest son up for a place starting September 2023 as I trust Bears Hideaway to take good care of him.

Bears Hideaway is a wonderful nursery. Debbie and her team are brilliant. Our youngest son has been there since he was a year old, he is now nearly 3. As a “covid baby” he was very clingy and I was v anxious about leaving him. Debbie and the team set our minds at ease as they gave X more settling in sessions and were always welcoming and warm. All the staff are so friendly, and it feels like they know all the children so well. X loves going to nursery and always comes home with a smile on his face telling us about his day. The things that they do at nursery are always varied, fun but with a sense of learning through play. The communication from the nursery is great, they are always timely in letting us know about any changes to menus etc, or if they are learning something new.

We couldn’t be happier, we just wished we had sent our eldest son there too!!

Bears has provided a wonderfully nurturing environment for both my boys for the past six years.

They provide fun and stimulating learning, and carers are always enthusiastic, upbeat and positive.

The few times I've had difficulties with my boys due to challenging behaviour, management (Charlotte in particular) has gone above and beyond to take the time to really listen and offer advice and tips that fill me with such confidence that Bears knowledge and understanding of the children they take care of is exceptional. 

They are always professional, yet kind and attentive. I have complete faith in Bears to give my children the absolute best start in life and would thoroughly recommend the nursery to anyone.

Our daughter has been going to bears hideaway for 20 months and really enjoys her time there. We feel they have a lovely balance between being nurturing and having learning and structure. If X feels a bit upset, she gets cuddles and reassurance. The staff are friendly and communicative. They communicate well and respond to X’s needs. They have a wide range of activities and lots of outdoors time. X has developed close friendships and confidence while at nursery. The staff are quick to communicate about any accidents or if X has been feeling emotional. They have safety procedures in place - for example if anyone different wants to pick X up.

I just wanted to say that  what matters to us most is that x is happy and enjoying his time at nursery. I know there are zillions of other things involved and it’s not just about ‘having fun’, but when I popped in today around 4pm to collect him and saw all the little ones in the back garden it was just a lovely sight! That’s what’s important. So, well done to you all for your inspection, we hope it wasn’t too stressful but we all ready knew you were doing a more than ‘good’ job :) 

X absolutely loves coming to nursery. You have created such a wonderful environment for the children with amazing staff.

X is excited to start school but has also said she wants to stay at Bears forever! She will be so sad to leave 😞 it's quite emotional knowing she has only a couple of sessions left as she has had such a journey since coming to Bears. She is a completely different child she has grown in so many ways and it will be so sad to say goodbye  All of your staff have been amazing and X speaks nothing but positive things about bears.

It is with a very heavy heart that I write to let you know of X's last day at Bears. I feel so sad writing this as she has literally loved every minute. There has never been a day when she’s not been so excited to go to nursery. It has brought her so much joy, fun, laughter and inspiration and it was the best decision we have ever made. She is so ready for school now thanks to all your careful nurturing, love, encouragement and support. You are the best nursery in the world and we feel so lucky. We are so so grateful to you for everything you have done for us, especially through the dark days of covid. What would we have done without you all.

Life just won’t be the same…. You are all SO amazing ❤️🌈
